Opportunity Abounds
The Leland Avenue Merchant Group convened our quarterly meeting the evening of Monday, November 29th at Joe Leland Coffee Shop – 28 Leland Avenue. Small business owners were given an update on crime trends in the area from Ingleside Police Captain Louis Cassanego and Leland Avenue Beat Officer Johnathon Ng before engaging in a lively discussion on safety. The second half of the meeting was dedicated to small business lending, as Otxin Echaide and Alex Dang from Opportunity Fund described how they help small businesses access capital. Their valuable presentation covered who they serve, loan products and their specialty loan program. Opportunity Fund reaffirmed their commitment to finding loans for small businesses in Visitacion Valley who may not quality for a conventional bank loan. For more information, please visit www.opportunityfund.org or call Alex Dang at 408-516-4708.
